Abstract
This research aims to find out the use of the Hypertext Prepocessor (PHP) programming language and MySQL database which will support the efficiency and effectiveness of the students executive presidential election process and can assist in online voting to make it easier for officers and voters in conducting elections. The purpose of this research is to observe, analyze, design and implement a Web-based Evoting Application for the General Election of the President of the Student Executive Board at Muhammadiyah University of Gorontalo using the Prototype method. This study provides a final result in the form of a Web-based application that can replace the semi-computerized election process for the President of BEM at Muhammadiyah University of Gorontalo into a computer system as a whole and produces various information such as candidate lists, final voter lists and ballot results statistics.

| Additional Information: | Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan bahasa pemograman Hypertext Prepocessor (PHP) dan Database MySQL yang akan menunjang efisiensi dan efektivitas proses pemilihan Presiden BEM serta dapat melakukan pemilihan/voting secara online sehingga mempermudah petugas dan pemilih dalam melakukan pemilihan, di karenakan sistem pemilihan Presiden BEM di Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo. Tujuan dari penulisan Tugas Akhir ini untuk mengamati, menganalisa, merancang dan mengimplementasikan Aplikasi E-voting Berbasis Web Untuk Pemilihan Umum Presiden Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa Di Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Prototype. Penelitian ini memberikan hasil akhir berupa aplikasi berbasis Web yang dapat menggantikan proses pemilihan presiden BEM di Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo yang bersifat semi komputer menjadi sistem komputer secara keseluruhan serta menghasilkan berbagai informasi seperti daftar calon, daftar pemilih tetap serta statistik hasil suara. | ||||||||||||
