Abstract
Taking hypertension medicine can reduce the symptoms of hypertension, but there are still many elderly people with hypertension who do not adhere to taking medication, this can be influenced by various factors including family support. The purpose of research was to determine family support in increasing patient compliance in taking hypertension medicine in Limboto Barat Health Center Work Area. Descriptive quantitative research design. The population of all hypertension patients who took part in prolanis in August 2022 was 77 people. The sample is 77 people with total sampling technique. The instrument used a family support questionnaire. Statistical test used analyze descriptive statistics. The results obtained by family support for the majority of the emotional aspects were good by 76.6%, the majority aspects of appreciation were good by 74%, the majority of information aspects were good by 77.9% and the majority of the instrumental aspects were good by 75.3%. It was concluded the majority of elderly hypertension sufferers have good family support in the emotional, informational, esteem and instrumental aspects.

| Additional Information: | Mengonsumsi obat hipertensi dapat mengurangi gejala dari penyakit hipertensi, namun masih banyak ditemukan lansia penderita hipertensi yang tidak patuh mengonsumsi obat, hal ini dapat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor diantaranya dukungan keluarga. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mengetahui dukungan keluarga dalam meningkatkan kepatuhan pasien dalam mengonsumsi obat hipertensi di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Limboto Barat. Desain penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Populasi seluru pasien hipertensi yang ikut prolanis bulan agustus 2022 sejumlah 77 orang. Sampel berjumlah 77 orang dengan teknik total sampling. Instrument yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dukungan keluarga. Uji statistik menggunakan analyze descriptive statistics. Hasil yang diperoleh dukungan keluarga aspek emosional mayoritas baik sebesar 76.6%, aspek penghargaan mayoritas baik sebesar 74%, aspek informasi mayoritas baik sebesar 77.9% dan aspek instrumental mayoritas baik sebesar 75.3%. Disimpulkan dukungan keluarga pada lansia penderita hipertensi mayoritas sudah baik dalam aspek emosional, informasi, penghargaan dan instrumental | ||||||||||||
