Abstract
The purpose of this research is to find out what types of signs are found in the film Raya and the last dragon.The research method used is descriptive qualitative, namely the researcher will make direct observations of the contents of the signs and their meanings.The results of this research show 10 scenes that show the elements of signs and meanings in the film Raya and the Last Dragon based on Roland Barthes' theory, namely to analyze the meaning of markers, signs and the order of denotative, connotative meanings, so that researchers find hidden meanings in the film.This film attempts to convey the social reality of social division and conflict caused by prejudice, hatred, greed and the desire for power.

| Additional Information: | Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui jenis tanda apa yang terdapat didalam film Raya and the last dragon. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif yakni peneliti akan melakukan pengamatan lansung terhadap isi tanda beserta artinya. Hasil penelitian ini menampilkan 10 scene yang memperlihatkan unsur tanda dan arti dalam film Raya and the Last Dragon berdasarkan teori dari Roland Barthes adalah untuk menganalisis makna penanda, petandan tatanan makna denotatif, konotatif, sehingga peneliti menemukan makna yang tersembunyi dari film tersebut. Film ini berupaya menyampaikan realitas sosial tentang perpecahan dan konflik sosial yang disebabkan oleh prasangka, kebencian, keserakahan, dan keinginan untuk berkuasa.
